That`s us up there, Courtney, Luke, & our four beautiful children Treyton, Rory, Hudson & Evelyn Short.

This is our story…

Our family are Native`s to Tahlequah Oklahoma. Luke is an Infantry Veteran from the Army National guard. He served two tours. One in Afghanistan, one in Iraq. Courtney is a Dental Assistant and a former Pharmacy Technician.

In 2017, Luke and one of his best friends decided they both wanted to take a leap and start a business together. With only 5 customers to start, they formed H&S Sanitation & Trash. There, they established a wonderful and loyal customer base and the business grew from there. In 2019 Luke`s business partner and friend decided to take on a new career path. That left a new window and business opportunity for the Short family.

The Short`s friended the Hutchin`s family that founded a booming and wonderful curbside recycling service of 10 years in the Tahlequah area formally known as Tahlequah Recycling Inc. The family was ready to take on new adventures but didn`t want to completely set free the service.

After a lot of planning, thinking, and praying the Short Family decided to take on this new adventure and merge the two companies together creating Tahlequah Recycling & Sanitation LLC.

As business owners, our mission is to keep Tahlequah clean, and continue to provide timely, efficient curbside recycling to our Tahlequah and surrounding family`s!
