We would like to introduce Luke & Courtney Short & their beautiful family. Luke is a veteran and has been operating a rural trash business for several years. They are expanding their trash service and taking over the Tahlequah Recycling operation. As of today all Tahlequah Recycling customers will be serviced by Tahlequah Recycling & Sanitation LLC. Please make sure to wave, come out to say hello, and welcome Luke and the TRS staff.
Our recycling efforts began in spring 2010. A big idea started with a small discussion between Josh & our at-the-time 5 year old, Emily (who will be 16 next month)! Through the continued support of our community and each and every one of our customers we have continued to divert waste from the landfill for over 9 years! Many of you know that Josh has been attending law school for the last 3 years and recently graduated opening his law practice here in Tahlequah. We are pleased to announce that Josh and the Tahlequah Recycling Inc. owners are passing the baton to Luke and Courtney Short. We are confident that they will continue to grow the recycling service in our area and continue our original mission of "Changing the Culture of Waste" one ton of recycling at a time.
Your service date may be changed in the near future as Luke and the TRS staff works through the transition. If you live outside city limits you have the opportunity to combine recycling and trash service for a discounted rate. You will be contacted in the near future for details. Updated billing address and email will be available soon.
